I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity with an established technology business operating within the smart building and intelligent automation sector.
The business is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to take responsibility for developing opportunities across the UK, with a particular focus on the South East.
💰 £60,000–£65,000 basic salary
🚗 Company car
💷 Excellent bonus package
📍 UK coverage – South East focus
This is a role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, opening doors, developing relationships and turning opportunities into long-term business.
You’ll be working with a mixture of end users, consultants, developers, contractors and other key industry stakeholders, helping customers understand and implement innovative technology solutions.
What I’m looking for:
• Proven B2B business development experience
• Strong commercial and relationship-building skills
• Experience selling a technical or technology-led solution
• Background in building technology, controls, automation, electrical, lighting, HVAC, BMS or a related sectorwould be highly relevant
• Comfortable working autonomously across a large territory
• A genuine hunter mentality with the ability to develop opportunities from scratch
